Wherever your interests lie, we're sure you will agree on one thing: our continued prosperity hinges on our greatest resource - our people.Position Summary:A Customer Service Representative is responsible for professionally handling call inquiries regarding claims in a fast paced call center environment to include identifying and resolving customer concerns and questions regarding claims information and billing concerns. This person will be responsible for projecting an exemplary company image through positive customer phone interactions. Additional responsibilities include handling various types incoming mail to include various media, checks and other claim related items.Essential Duties:

Answer incoming phone inquiries from clients, claimants and medical providers regarding claims information.

Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff and research billing issues.

Demonstrate superior listening skills while exhibiting excellent customer service, patience, and empathy to promote the company reputation of integrity.

Prevent and defuse situations through research, customer education, exploring alternative solutions and follow up to ensure a successful resolution.

Upload documents from media received through centralized mail processing to the correct claim file.

Investigate claim information to appropriately determine the correct mailing addresses for return to sender checks.

Forward title with appropriate release letter to storage/salvage companies.

Required:

High school diploma

Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience

Strong typing and basic computer skills

Preferred:

Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word

Work Traits:

Good verbal communication skills

Maintains a high level of professionalism with clients and establishes a positive rapport with every caller.
