This role involves use of a powered industrial truck (PIT) to move product to different departments in the work area, and requires the ability to read numbers and fill out paperwork. Handle these and all other assignments while making safety the number one priority.While performing the duties of Jack Operator, the employee is regularly exposed to a fast paced cold environment with slippery surfaces at times; moving mechanical parts. Position requires standing and walking throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.Principal Accountabilities
Ensuring food safety and quality
Cleanliness and housekeeping
Maintaining a safe working environment
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Ability to fill out assigned paperwork
Ability to read numbers, example: date codes and weights
Ability to use a powered industrial truck (PIT) or eligible to acquire license and maintain the license
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Cargill experience
Previous production experience
Meat processing experience
Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Work history in the last 12 months
