Associate Recruiter

Job Summary:

The Associate Recruiter will connect with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers. Assist with the hiring and onboarding of contractors. Ultimately, the Associate Recruiter is responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Sourcing and reaching out to qualified candidates for the current open roles

Assisting with the coordination of the hiring process end-to-end

Execute quarterly and annual hiring plans

Create and publish job ads in various portals

Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events

Screen resumes and job applications

Conduct initial phone interview to create shortlists of qualified candidates

Interview candidates for a wide range of roles

Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire

Design, distribute and measure the results of candidate experience surveys

Host and participate in job fairs

Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process

Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals for future job openings

Perform data entry

Support the General Manager and Recruiting Manager as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

MUST BE FREE OF ANY NON-COMPETE AGREEMENTS

Bilingual in Spanish is required

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based services

Knowledge of sourcing techniques through all types of networking including social media, niche professional websites (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, job boards, and corporate connections)

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and multi-tasking

Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills

Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision

Team player

We are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates

Education and Experience:

1-2 years preferred recruiting experience or equivalent

Associated degree in related field preferred

Physical Requirements:

Be able to perform essential job responsibilities

Some travel may be required

Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment

The employee may sit for long periods at a desk or computer terminal

The employee may use computers, calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during a typical workday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
