We are looking to fill a position on our team for a Veterinary Technician.
Androscoggin Animal Hospital is a fast paced, 5 doctor Small Animal practice located in Topsham. Our future team member should have previous experience working in all aspects of clinical veterinary practice, be detail and task oriented, work well as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills. We are an AAHA certified, state-of-the-art facility that offers full medical, surgical, dental and imaging services, participates in Fear Free techniques, offers Wellness Plans, and so much more! We treat a wide variety of companion animals including pocket pets and some exotics.
We’re a fun, down to earth group of committed veterinary professionals. We have a good time and work every day to be just a little better than we were the day before. Our team is made up of a large majority of staff that have been here for over 5 years and several of us have been here for over 10 years! Preference will be given to licensed veterinary technicians and any applicant having experience in hospitalized patients, anesthesia, and/or surgery. This is a Full Time position and includes equally shared weekend rotations. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills as you contribute to our team. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including a Continuing Education allowance.
