Scales, a very busy and exciting restaurant on Portland's waterfront, is looking for an experienced Lead Host to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our guests during our dinner service, our Lead Host is an integral part of the front-of-house operations. Responsibilities include evening staff and dining room oversight, greeting guests as they enter the restaurant, planning the seating of the night's reservations, managing a lengthy walk-in list, and prioritizing guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be professional, confident, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, and most importantly, focused on providing outstanding customer service. Must be able to effectively prioritize while operating calmly and smoothly with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This is a part-time, year-round position that requires evening hours. Experience with Open Table/Guest Center is a must.
