DescriptionAre you a talented Accounting Manager? You might be the candidate Robert Half Finance is looking for to work with a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. To succeed in this role, you will need to lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable. You might be a good fit for this position if you have the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. This Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for full-time employment that is located in the Naperville, Illinois area.What you get to do every day
Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Work alongside FP&A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Reliable technology and analytical abilities
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
