This Recruitment Selection Supervisor will lead a team of recruiters and coordinators that support our ALDI Warehouses across the nation.Position Type: Full-TimeWork Location: Naperville, IL.This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).Duties and Responsibilities:Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Ensures the training, development, and performance of their direct reports to retain a motivated, professional workforce. Establishes, communicates and evaluates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results. Identifies training and development opportunities that will assist their direct reports in achieving enhanced performance. Understands the overarching company strategy while communicating and modeling the core values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees. Recommends recruitment process improvement to their direct leader as appropriate. Consults with the business to effectively refine and modify recruitment processes based on recruitment reporting and KPIs. Observes work performance, provides coaching and conducts annual performance evaluations, recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate. Liaises with divisions, national committees and/or national services departments to ensure satisfaction with Recruiter interactions. Liaises with HR Shared Services, HR Information Systems, HR Benefits, HR Payroll, HR Global Mobility and other appliable HR teams to ensure cross-department alignment. Provides input to their direct leader on hiring for positions reporting to them. Informs management of major team milestones, developments, and concerns. Provides guidance and oversight to projects and process changes in regards to Recruitment Centralization. Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of their team through established recruitment KPIs and implements changes, as needed, to achieve the highest level of service. Researches and stays current on best practices for processing and/or managing Recruitment practices. Develops and maintains constructive working relationships with assigned hiring leaders, colleagues and vendors. Ensures completion of any Recruitment Selection projects, presentations, and reports as advised by their leader. Assists in the hiring of personnel by reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates. Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalating issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessary. Ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner to provide the highest level of customer service for the business. Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group.Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field required. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Recruitment required. Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.Physical Requirements: Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties. Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another. Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
