My co-founder Leslie and I are blowout nerds. We've traveled across the country learning everything possible about blowouts It's our thing.
Four years ago we were on a trip to an extremely prestigious salon. We were meeting with their very best stylist and we couldnt wait to learn from her¦
About 15 minutes of the stylist taking us through her blow dry technique we realized we had made a mistake. She was doing the exact same blow dry technique everyone else did.
We came all the way to see her because we just knew she would have something amazing to show us. But she didn't
It was a huge disappointment But it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to us.
On the way back from that trip we realized the entire salon industry (even the top ones) were using a 20 year old blowout technique.
We knew there had to be something better So we decided to stop copying what everyone else was doing and start coming up with our own blowout From scratch.
We spent the next year and a half experimenting with every possible technique until one night we finally nailed the magic combination¦.
And the results were absolutely amazing. Leslie's hair was flawless. It was the smoothest blowout we had ever seen. And it lasted her an entire week.
