A growing organization within a strong growth company, the Digital Product Engineering team leverages and integrates emerging technologies (AI, NLP/U, AR, IoT) into new and existing channels (web, mobile, SMS, bot, voice) to deliver new experiences poised to change the face of consumer health.
With a presence in Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington VA and a great technical team in St. Louis MO, this tight-knit, interdisciplinary team uses a variety of ideation methodsfrom design thinking to hackathonsto rapidly prototype and develop new capabilities to address the biggest opportunities and core challenges of healthcare consumption.
Position Purpose:
Thrive as product manager, responsible for defining the vision, roadmap and product requirements for multi-channel capabilities delivered through both traditional graphical and conversational interfacesguiding the development effort in an Agile environment.
Partner with Product Director, UX team and business owners to understand the business needs and objectives, converting them into product concepts and requirements
Research and outline top use cases for delivery across the various engagement channels
Leverage design thinking and lean startup methodologies in the development process to shape user stories and to quickly test, learn and refine capabilities
Support the UX teams user testing efforts
Team with engineering staff to understand viable technical approaches, proactively identify critical path tasks and solutions for barriers.
Guide the development of QA test plans
Monitor and analyze product performance and drive enhancements into new releases
Effectively engage with and manage offshore resources
Capable of presenting effectively in person or remotely
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Communication, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of consumer-facing software product development experience required
Proficient in Agile development
Familiar with Lean Startup and Design Thinking Methodologies
Experience in the healthcare industry with digital health experience a plus
Problem solver with strong oral and written communications skills
Self-starter with ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Technology implementation and operations management experience preferred
This is a full time employee position working directly for our client. The pay range target is $90,000 - $130,000/yr plus great benefits.
The work is on-site at our clients offices in Clarendon/Courthouse area of Arlington.
