DescriptionRobert Half Management Resources is working with a wealth management and investment firm on an interim Senior Internal Auditor role.Job Responsibilities
Develop and finalize process flows including: process steps, controls, risks and decision points;
Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls within the processes and identify control gaps and weaknesses;
Update and/or revise the comprehensive Risk and Control Matrix ("RACM");
Utilize FWIA templates for all work product, including fieldwork, status memos and reports;
Any additional IA projects as deemed necessary
Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification preferred 5+ years of relevant experience with 1 – 3 years of experience in auditing and/or SOX/Advisory Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred Strong knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements Proficient in risk assessment and risk-based auditing Strong experience in performing process walkthroughs, documentation and process flows Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and VisioAt Robert Half Management Resources, your experience matters - and we put it to good use!
