High tech manufacturer in Mira Mesa has an immediate opening for an Electronic Tester II to join their team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performs routine go/no go test of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
Sets up devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
Documents test results.
May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement.
May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions.
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
May provide daily supervision as needed of technical issues involving the production test group of technicians, and may work on one or more technologies across product lines.
Provide manufacturing support to engineering and/or manufacturing team for process research and documentation.
Interprets and evaluates processing data to apply to reports, compilation of and auditing of process documentation.
May write reports, charts, and graphs to describe and illustrate faulty characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
A+ Certification or 4 years of Computer Systems Testing and or Functional Testing of computers and related products preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Mon-Fri
