ABOUT THIS POSITION:
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to design model homes. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects at a time on a national level. Your job is to create the most beautiful living space a new home buyer is looking for in the largest purchase of their life. You will be using your distinct eye for details and your knowledge of industry trends to turn these empty structures into warm and inviting space for someone to call their home. You will source all furniture and work with design teams to implement your creative ideas. Additionally, you will manage the budget and timelines for each project and attend model installations to ensure your vision is implemented to perfection! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a seasoned creative interior designer with a minimum of one years of experience within the industry (Model home experience is a plus!) The right candidate will have superb taste, and a keen eye for style and design. Experience with hard surface specifications, fabrics, furnishings, art procurement, paint, lighting, outdoor furniture, and working knowledge of architectural plans, familiarity with vendors and design centers are mandatory.
Having a positive attitude, working well with others and being a team player is required. This position does require travel for project installation along with some driving.
Compensation will be based on previous work experience. We do offer generous 401k contributions and benefits. Hours are M-F 8:30-5:00. This is a full time position.
