Looking for Local Artists (please don't apply if you live outside of Orange County) to instruct Paint Nite paint party classes. We also host Flower Arranging events, Candle Making, and Wood Sign Events, wine bottle/glass painting, ceramic painting (and more to come).
If you are not open to work at least 3-5 events per week (or more) please do not reply to this add. Pay scale is based on ticket sales and ranges from $100-$150 per event worked plus tips. (Does not apply to training pay, and assisting pay)
Fullerton, Yorba Linda, Anaheim, Orange, Brea, La Habra Los Alamitos, Cypress, Garden Grove, Buena Park Anaheim Hills and Tustin. Private Parties may be in other locations.
What type of a class is this? Basically, a party host walks an average of 25 people step-by-step through a 2 hour painting or project while at a local bar/restaurant. Events run for 2 hours (typical time 7pm-9pm). Set up and break down is additional 2 hours (4hours total per event).This is a PARTY, not a CLASS; these are social events with low-key instruction.
Some basic qualifications:
1. Must be crafty, outgoing, comfortable with a crowd, able to roll with the punches and handle challenges
2. Must be able to break down a painting step-by-step (similar to Bob Ross's style - if you are too young to remember Bob Ross, Youtube him!) Teaching experience or social entertainment experience is preferred.
3. Must be comfortable communicating with venue restaurant/bar staff. Service Experience is ideal!
4. Must have a spacious car to transport the equipment (easels, canvas, paint) and have an enclosed storage space at home, to the venue and back again, access to laundry (we are green and wash paint towel, table covers and aprons).
5. Must be able to do physical labor (lifting paint jugs and boxes of canvases) MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 35 lbs AND WALK FOR 3-4 HOURS AT A TIME.
6. Must be willing to work 4-5 events a week (week nights 5:30pm-10pm, and weekends anytime).
7. Must be 21 (classes take place in venues that serve alcohol).
8. Must be computer and social media savvy; able to edit photos and upload photos to Facebook, Use google APPS.
9. Must be reliable and trustworthy and live LOCAL to North OC.
10. Detail oriented, organized and punctual!
