Spruce Tree Montessori School is accepting resumes for the position of Teacher Assistant in our Children's House Program (early childhood classroom ages 3 - 6) to begin August 2019. Optimal candidate has a minimum of two (2) years experience in a classroom, experience with classroom set-up and organization, curriculum management, and excellent parent relationship skills. Candidates should be innovative and resourceful, active and kind. Candidates should have a basic understanding of the Montessori philosophy and demonstrate a desire to learn more and participate in our internal Montessori orientation/training program. He/she is confident in his/her knowledge of teaching fundamentals. BA/BS or progress toward such degree is required. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
