VCA Far Country Animal Hospital currently has an opening for a part time Client Service position. The successful candidate will have solid multi-tasking skills, impeccable customer service and perform with a high level of accuracy - all with a smile on your face!

Is detail oriented and has the ability to own their oversights and mistakes

Adept at learning new information quickly and are largely self-directed in performing their work

Able to take feedback and direction well, with a positive can-do attitude

Has an upbeat attitude with calm demeanor, can handle stressful periods in the work day

Is absolutely committed to making the clinic the best possible environment for clients and co-workers alike

Essential duties of this position are:

Greeting clients, answering multi line phone system, making appointments

Cash handling-collecting deposits and processing payments

Managing medical records, reports and correspondence

Ensuring lobby and other client accessible areas are neat, clean and free from odors.

Computer literacy-Able to utilize Word, Excel, Outlook and be adept at learning new software

Physical requirements of this position are:

Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication

Must be able to lift 40 pounds

This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8 hour day

Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people and understand written directions

Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone

Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing hospital equipment

Reliability and flexibility in schedule is required. Shifts vary, our hospital hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday-Saturday. Candidates with veterinary or medical office experience are highly desirable. Priority for interviewing and hiring will be giving to those candidates.
