Saw's Street Kitchen Food Truck is taking resumes for candidates to fill the positions of Food Truck Assistant Manager and Line Cooks.
We now have the opportunity to offer a few more positions working for the Saw's Street Kitchen Food Truck. We in conjunction with Saw's BBQ - Southside kitchen to prep the food, load our truck and then head out for the day. We sell our food in different locations each day. This which is a great opportunity for excitement and a different change of pace for cooks and managers that are used to working in the same restaurant day after day. Our work weeks are usually 4-5 days. However, we work the schedule to give the extra shifts to those that want more work, 30-40 hours a week is to be expected. We are looking for individuals that that work well within a group. Having personal responsibility for one's actions for success is important and we strive to support that business ideology at Saw's Street Kitchen.
Here are a few Requirements we will be looking for in potential employees of Saw's Street Kitchen:
- Experience Cooking or Managing in a professional kitchen.
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Jefferson Co. Food Handlers Card
- Positive attitude
- Common sense
- Cleanliness and Good Personal Hygiene
- A Resume is REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT
Responsibilities:
- Prepping food for service in a timely manner
- Following a checklist to ensure all listed items are on the truck and stocked prior to leaving for service.
- Loading/unloading and set-up/breakdown of materials on location.
- Maintain consistency in quality, portions and presentation of food.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space during food preparation and service.
We like positive minded individuals and working in a positive/friendly working environment. You will be working in a close proximity to your co-workers as well as customers so having the right attitude is a must. We like to have fun on the food truck, but our employees must understand that we work hard to be successful each day at Saw's Street Kitchen.
