Field Heavy Equipment Technician
Summary: seeking Field Heavy Equipment Technicians out of multiple locations. Applicant must exhibit a strong work ethic. Related experience is required. We service and repair heavy equipment for the oil and gas industry.
Job Essential Duties:
-Accurately diagnose and repair heavy equipment as well as other various brands of equipment supported.
-Rebuild or replace various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps, etc.
-Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty and/or at customer job sites.
-Align with safety compliance per company policy as well as customer-specific safety compliance if required at customer job sites.
-Maintain a clean work environment, and properly care for company vehicles, and specialty tools provided by the company.
-Participate in a positive and relationship-building work environment alongside coworkers in service as well as customers.
-Field Technicians report to the Field Service Manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
-Must have experience working on heavy equipment.
-Basic computer skills to efficiently utilize service and parts support programs.
-Maintain and create accurate and comprehensive service reports on tasks performed during service or repair.
-Maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
-Must have advanced knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics, and power train components.
-Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
-Willingness to participate in company-paid training as required.
-Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service, and repair work on heavy equipment.
-Must be self-driven and organized and can perform efficiently while working independently.
-Must have your own professional tools.
Schedule:
-Local and Rotational schedules available.
-Start between 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
Compensation:
-Hourly compensation is DOE.
-Lots of overtime if you want it.
-Time and a half after 40-hours.
