We are seeking experienced glaziers to join our team. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Install glass in windows, skylights, storefronts, and display cases, or on surfaces, such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install glass and mirrors.
- Remove old or broken glass and putty from frames.
- Fasten glass into sashes or frames with clips, moldings, or other types of fasteners.
- Prepare glass for installation by cutting and shaping it to fit specified dimensions.
- Use adhesives, gaskets, and other methods to secure the glass.
- Seal joints with caulking compounds.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a glazier.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of glass types, properties, and installation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
