Need Great Personal Assistant

Wyoming, Wyoming 00000 Wyoming USA
Aplica ya

Hi, I run several businesses from my office in Jackson.

While most of our team is remote from other states, I need a great local assistant to help me leverage my time.

I have a remote assistant already, but there is a lot she simply can’t do remotely. That’s where you come in.

I’m looking for a responsible, dependable, bright personal assistant to help me with both my business and my personal errands.

Your Role:

Scanning documents and electronic filing.

Mail runs.

Amazon and online orders and returns (personal).

Running simple software updates and updating my phone/ipad apps.

Office admin at local office (off highway 89 between Melody and Rafter J).

Light office cleaning.

Pick up/drop airport for my travel.

And other personal assistant tasks.

As a dad with three sons and running two active businesses, time is at a premium. Your role would be to help save me time wherever possible. This could be taking my car in to switch to summer tires, researching options for a business trip I’m taking, or fixing a printer snag in my office (and if you get stuck, getting a local tech to come over while you’re there to fix it.)

Flexible Work Schedule

Much of the work will be done remotely (or running errands locally here in Jackson). Typically twice a week you’ll take care of things at my local office (Monday and Wednesdays have historically worked best) for 1-3 hours as needed, then the rest of the schedule is fairly up to you. Obviously, things like errands need to be handled while businesses are open (and not late at night), but I’ll let you figure that out.

You Must Be…

1. Utterly reliable. When you say you’ll get “x” done, you do.

2. Trustworthy. You have the maturity to keep my affairs private. You do the right thing, especially when no one is watching, because that’s just who you are.

3. Technologically capable. You understand and are comfortable working with various technology and software (normal stuff like windows, MS office, Adobe, etc), phone and ipad apps, etc. What you don’t know, you can look up online to solve… or if you get stuck, work with a local tech person (or our remote IT company.) While you don’t need to be a “techie”, if you are scared of tech this isn’t for you.

4. A “no nonsense” person. Life has enough drama as it is. I’m looking for someone who doesn’t invent or invite excess drama into my life.

5. Long term fit. While I understand that life happens, I’m looking for someone who wants a longer-term gig. Ideally 2+ years… and ideally 5+ years. I’ve worked with someone now for 20+ years so the role is stable and a long-term need. I’m looking for someone for whom this role fits for into their life over the long term.

If you see yourself in this role and think you have the above five must haves, please email me your resume and cover letter as a single PDF file. Please make sure to put “Local Assistant” in the subject line. Thank you!
