Job Title: Low Voltage Technician level 2 and 3
Pay: $22 - $27/hr
Shift: 6:00am - 5:00pm (Monday-Friday working 5/10s)
Job Description:
We are seeking 15 experienced low voltage technicians to join our team for an exciting project at Microsoft Data Centers in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Responsibilities:
-Terminate a jack, pull cable
-Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic , and coaxial cables
-Build out MDF and IDF closets including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware
-Install cordage type cabling in active data center
-Set up network cabling
-Pull cable
-Dress cable
-Cable tailing
-Read blueprints
-Pull jetline into closet
-Receive subset of scope, review and understand necessary steps for pre-planning the personnel, materials and tools
-Build closet- install free standing server racks and cabinets
-Place and install pathways
-Accurately pre-label copper and fiber cordage
-Pull and dress copper and fiber indoor and OSP
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Level 2 Tech:
-1 year of commercial low voltage installation experience
-Must own tools
-Valid DL
Level 3 Tech:
-2- 4 years of commercial low voltage installation experience
-Must own tools
-Valid DL
