Want to work solo outdoors and get to drive through some of Wyomings's beautiful scenery?This job may be for you!I have a full time job opening in Wilson, WY as a rural contract mail carrier.Requirements to be approved include:
- owning a reliable vehicle to make deliveries with (yes, you use your own vehicle)
- passing a drug test, background check, and driving record check (cannot have more than 2 tickets in 3 years or 3 tickets in 5 years)
- Reliable and can work a postal schedule, Mon-Sat with the exception of postal holidays.
- You can bring on a sub or helper to take days off (it is possible to bring on a friend or family member if they can pass all the requirements!)
Starting daily wage of $188.24/day ($60,000/yr - not including extra trip wages or PTO)Approximately 19 miles per day and 382 active boxes.You would be a W2 Employee of Zetrick LLC, a USPS Contractor.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs. and work in winter conditions.
Duties include but are not limited to:- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for approx 382 active boxes.- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.- Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned 19 mile line-of-travel.- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.- Other administrative duties are required.
Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:- One (1) dependable vehicle that provides at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. Most mid-size SUV's or larger will work.- $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 of liability insurance or $600,000 CSL insurance for route vehicle- The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.
Training Begins: ASAP
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with Sunday as a non-scheduled day. Government Holidays observed.- Estimated Hours: 8:00a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (Hours will vary with the amount of mail each day and carrier efficiency).- Health & welfare compensation and holiday pay are included in salary.
