LPN Job Description
We are a growing company and have current openings for skilled LPN’s. You will provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis. This role requires your LPN license to work in the state specified in the job details. Review the below responsibilities and requirements for this role.

Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of an LPN may include, but are not limited to the following;
- Monitoring and recording the eating habits of the patients and how many times they are using the washroom.
- Assembling the equipment
- Providing the basic bedside care including dressing wounds, changing bandages, inserting catheters, and giving injections.
- Collect and record patient's vital signs, Regulate vaccinations and injections, Interview patients and examine their medical history.
- Report abnormal findings
- Review and maintain updated health records
- Follow up with patient doctors order or test results
- Assist registered nurses as assigned by Register nurse/ Nursing Supervisor
- Administer medications
- Complete admission note (within your scope of practice)
- Review patients documentation or paperwork
- Starting, monitoring, or discontinuing IV catheters or fluids
- Aid in phlebotomy by analyzing patient, reviewing tests, and setting patient and puncture site
- Manage adequate inventory of examination room supplies and set the rooms.
- Communicate with third party businesses such as pharmacies
- May be expected to supervise certified nursing assistants and other non-licensed nursing professionals
- May be expected to contribute to administrative duties including but not limited to answer calls, replying to messages, and executing triage where permitted
Requirements
- Valid LPN license
- Minimum of 6 months LPN experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to apply Critical thinking to resolve problems
- Oral and written communication
