The Windstream team provides innovative software and network solutions to connect people and empower business in a world of infinite possibilities!About the Role:The Network Implementation Specialist will be responsible for tracking, scheduling and coordinating of all aspects of migration action; from a single circuit to multiple circuits, from equipment decommissioning, to site decommissioning. The Network Implementation Specialist will be the single point of contact throughout the entire grooming action. These actions will reduce the company’s cost of doing business.What You’ll Do:

Proficiently coordinates the assigned migration actions
Coordinate with various groups inside and outside of our organization
Continuously monitor the progress of jobs, including tasks and proactively investigating any deviations
Manages escalation activities efficiently and effectively, while also assisting others as needed
Routinely participates in special projects related to supporting the team and improving processes
Keeps all appropriate personnel apprised of status of jobs, shifts in priorities, existing or perceived problems, and deviations from schedule
Identifies, suggests, and implements preventative/corrective actions to improve quality of the migration process
Troubleshoot issues within migration window to ensure migration success
Additional responsibilities (including special small projects) may be defined as needed
Do You Have?
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task utilizing time management and work prioritization skills
Basic–level technical competence in a Windows/MAC based environment
Strong computer experience (MS Office, Outlook, Company Software and Web Apps)
Intermediate working knowledge of Juniper/Cisco Router CLI
Intermediate working knowledge of Network services such as ATM, Ethernet, and VLANs
Intermediate working knowledge of IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and static routing
Intermediate working knowledge of networking WAN/LAN topology
Intermediate working knowledge of troubleshooting network issues such as optics levels, VLAN tagging, IP routing, etc.
Flexibility to work varied shifts to provide support to your team on an as needed basis
Highly organized and strict attention to details
Self-disciplined; self-starter
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Ability to learn new processes quickly
Able to handle high stress in a professional manner
Participate in projects as assigned by management

4-6 years technical/telephony experience with 4+ years directly related to the job
Preferred Network Certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, Network+)
Project coordination skills
