Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:Design electrical and/or power electronics circuitry for Premium CT Hardware either on NPI products or maintenance of installed base.Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of assigned designs, projects and rigor, with duties including design, project reviews, feasibility analysis, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, resourcing, initiation, execution and closure.Drive the development of prototypes, performance testing and design documentation.Capture electrical design schematic using an ECAD system.Review and approve layout done on the ECAD system.Develop innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability.Requirements:Master's or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering.BS in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of industry electrical engineering experience.5 years of industry experience in circuit design.Knowledge of standard schematic practices, product structuring, electronics modeling, and engineering analysis techniques.Knowledge of integrated circuit design, control system design, programming, simulation & test.Good understanding of circuit/circuit board design both analog and digital.Familiarity with digital electronics, switches and flux capacitor.Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute projects/programs.Ability to multi-task, both on projects within the electrical team and within the greater hardware team.
