Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains accurate, legible records of cheese location and quantity.
- Complies with all company Safety, HACCP and GMP policies.
- Immediately reports any food safety or quality issues to management or other individual authorized to initiate action.
Wheel Production- Hooping (Role Emphasis):
- Fills cheese wheel molds with cheese curd using packing equipment, monitoring cheese wheel size.
- Stacks wheels horizontally onto cheese presses.
- Flips 20 lb wheels in press to ensure proper wheel form.
- Removes cheese from molds.
- Maintains accurate wheel weights and counts.
- Cleans and sanitizes production area and equipment.
- Palletizes finished wheels and transfers cheese to other production areas using forklift.
- Removes, washes and sanitizes hoops and lids.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Basic computer skills, with proficiency operating Window’s based software.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of two, three and four digit numbers using units of weight measurement and counts.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
