job detailsjob summary:We are searching for a Quality Technician or Engineer in Waukesha, WI to work for an industry leading manufacturing company. Candidates should have quality inspection and/or testing experience within a manufacturing environment. This is a contract position expected to last 6 months and could be longer.location: Waukesha, Wisconsinjob type: Contractsalary: $35 - 38 per hourwork hours: 7am to 3pmeducation: Associatesresponsibilities:
Perform assembly tests/inspection of transformers at various locations in the assembly plants per established procedures. Monitor conformance to quality standards.
Perform the following tests as required per established procedures: ratio (variety), resistance (variety), continuity, VFI, CT, and hipot (applied potential)
Inspection of unit nameplates, stamp impedance value on nameplates, and secure nameplates to tested units.
Perform visual inspection on interior of unit upon completion of testing.
Completing various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.
