If you are a Quality Manager looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening for you! You with all levels of the organization to ensure continuous compliance and improvement of Quality across the organization. Manage, mentor, and provide strategic direction to a staff of Quality Engineers, Technicians and Auditors.

As a Quality Manager, You Will:
  • Manage and assist Quality Engineers to ensure the completion of APQP activities throughout new product development and capital equipment initiatives to meet the organization's quality deliverables
  • Provide input to Design Reviews and Design for Sourcing
  • Have appropriate gaging procured and work with suppliers to achieve gage correlation
  • Manage the Metrology lab personnel, maintenance, and calibrations for all gages
  • Supervise a team of process auditors. Provide guidance, training, and implementations on auditing best practices
  • Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process and ensure nonconforming material is identified, segregated, and dispositioned in a timely manner. Utilize risk assessments in determining actions
  • Monitor and report on Manufacturing process and Quality Management system performance opportunities and work with the organization towards improvements
  • Support Manufacturing and Quality personnel to ensure products and processes comply with customer, regulatory, functional, and cosmetic requirements
  • Drive and manage the completion of 8D or A3 corrective actions that address root causes
  • Ensure effective coordination of PPAPs for new products, production machinery, and purchased parts

Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 3 years of training and/or Quality Management experience and excellent understanding of ISO 9001 requirements.
  • 3 years experience in effective leadership of teams or direct reports
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of computers and ability to manage web-based applications
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and apply written instructions, procedures, and technical standards
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization

PreferredEducation, Experience & Skills:
  • Certifications as Six Sigma Black Belt, Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, and/or Quality Engineering is preferred
