Tool Designers & Machine Tool
A technology driven leading manufacturer of custom cutting tooling is now accepting applications for Tool Designers & Machine Tool Background Applicants. We are growing and have brought our AAA Precision Tool business in house from Idaho. We seek high caliber team members who enjoy a workplace where cleanliness and safety are a priority. Machine tool background is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Layout, design and detail tooling using AutoCad Mechanical and Inventor
Review designs for accuracy and functionality
Create approval or quote drawings for the purpose of quoting tools
Generate a bill of materials for each job and add routings (ERP System)
Requirements:
Knowledge of AutoCad or similar CAD System
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Windows
Machine tool education or machine shop experience preferred
Blue print reading
Ability to visualize a part and translate it on to a drawing
Good background in drawing interpretations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a multitask environment
Ability to independently plan and organize one’s own activities
