Collections Specialist

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist for a New Berlin, Wisconsin company. In this role, you will primarily focus on managing customer accounts, ensuring accuracy of records, and responding to customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with the critical responsibility of processing customer applications.Responsibilities: Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications Handle customer inquiries, providing high-quality customer service Follow up on past due accounts to ensure timely payments Back up cash application processes when necessary Accurately maintain customer credit records Monitor customer accounts regularly, taking appropriate action when needed Answer inbound calls, addressing customer concerns effectively Implement collection processes as required to maintain account health Use your skills in 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Answering Inbound Calls', 'Collection Processes' to achieve departmental goals.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR). Ability to effectively answer inbound calls. Extensive knowledge of collection processes. Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to collections. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
