Job Overview:
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician or Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems and codes, possess the ability to troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical components, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure all electrical work is in compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently, identifying root causes and offering appropriate solutions.
- Perform system inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior electricians or apprentices, ensuring their development and adherence to safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and job progress.
Qualifications:
- Master Electrician or Journeyman license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with a proven track record of successful installations and troubleshooting.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work on-call or overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, or construction sites).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- OSHA certification or safety training.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
