We have a barn that is over 120 years old, but has been well maintained. It has been built out a bit with an apartment and additional HVAC treated space, along with a small office space attached and 2 door garage addition for large farm vehicles.
There are 3 areas that I would like addressed - I am looking for qualified people to review and provide a quote for the following work:
1) Windows - Review / Repair / Replace / Paint. Some of the windows are of a newer style and should be in good shape, a few are older wood windows with a bit of rot and a couple of the storm windows may need to be replaced. These need to be inspected and recommendations made for bringing up to date, with a final coat of paint, as needed;
2) Gutters - They are intact, but a few are sagging a bit. They need to be cleaned out and adjusted. If replacement is need, please quote. May also consider cover system to eliminate future clean out requirements.
3) Structure - there is one corner which has an exposed vertical beam with has some rot - due to excessive water from blocked gutter. This post needs to be repaired - patched and the exterior redone (We do have paint for the finish).
