POSITION OVERVIEW

At Retrospekt, we restore vintage items to look and perform like they did in their prime, as well as offer new products that fit under the umbrella of analog and nostalgia. We’re passionate people, addicted to the experience of analog equipment. Polaroid cameras from the 80’s and 90’s, cassette players and radios, roll film cameras, Gameboys, typewriters, and VCRs are just some of the items you’ll find our team bringing back to life for another generation.

Successful Refurb Techs will master numerous duties relating to the efficient testing, restoration, and packaging of these new and vintage products, with the ultimate objective being to create retail-ready goods. No previous refurbishment or repair experience is required — all training related to the refurbishment of goods will be provided on the job.

These tasks may include (but are not necessarily limited to):

Testing, refurbishing, and packaging various vintage and new products to fulfill wholesale and direct-to-consumer orders

Various preparatory tasks for the assembly of custom refurbished Polaroid cameras (such as disassembling cameras, cleaning internals, applying custom decals to small parts, painting components in our paint booth, etc.)

Assembling custom refurbished Polaroid cameras

Completing basic repairs of miscellaneous vintage items

Quality checking the work of your peers

Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our workspace

Assisting with special projects or completing other work-related tasks as needed
