SUMMARY OF POSITION: Individual will work primarily on second shift with overtime as needed. Individual must work closely and effectively with others in their department to achieve overall objective of on-time quality parts manufactured safely. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: CNC Operator/Machinist loads stock parts into CNC Mills or Lathes either manually or by the means of mechanical lifting devicesVerifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample work pieces, adhering to company and customer standardsMaking changes to worn tools, inserts and makes tool offset adjustments; troubleshoots problems, maintaining safety standards and quality, keeping quality data and production logsSets up mills, lathes b installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; mounts work holding devices indicates vices in and finds locations of work holding devices.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School education or equivalent.3 plus years of previous CNC Machining (Mills and Lathes) Must possess strong basic math skillsFamiliar with Micrometers, Calipers and other measuring devicesPositive outlook and a wide comfort zone a must SCOPE:Position reports to the Operations Manager2nd Shift - Tuesday - Thursday 2 pm - MidnightPI248363091 Apply
