Reflections Recruiting is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our client’s team for a significant renovation project in a historic church in Oconomowoc, WI. Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, installing structures and fixtures, and repairing and maintaining existing elements.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project timelines and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate and precise construction.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow and address any issues promptly.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter/general construction laborer in commercial construction.
Skills: Proficient in all aspects of carpentry, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the renovation of historic buildings is a plus.
Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of construction professionals.
