Flourchild Pizza is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee our prep and back of house operations. This is a full-time role with a consistent morning-focused schedule. You will be responsible for leading a small team, maintaining prep standards, and ensuring smooth handoffs to service staff.
This position is not about chasing titles. It is about running an organized kitchen, managing people, and making sure food is prepped with care and accuracy. There will also be opportunities to collaborate with ownership and chefs on menu execution and improvements.
What You Will Do
Lead and organize the prep operation and BOH team
Oversee execution of batch prep items such as sauces, toppings, and dough
Keep prep timelines and task lists on track
Maintain food quality and consistency across all recipes
Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
Train, support, and hold your team accountable
Communicate with FOH and PM staff for smooth service transitions
Who This Role Is For
Experienced in a professional kitchen, ideally with prep or production management
Organized and efficient with strong time management skills
Comfortable leading a team and setting expectations
Committed to high standards and consistency
Able to balance structure with some creative collaboration
Requirements
2–5 years back of house experience, preferably in management
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and prep procedures
ServSafe Manager certification or willingness to obtain
Able to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
Morning availability with some flexibility for schedule needs
English required; Spanish a plus
