Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for daily menu items, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Help cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Participate in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques, including chopping, slicing, and cooking methods.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a kitchen environment.
- Experience in menu planning is a plus but not required.
