Description Staff Accountant.Our client, a global consulting and talent solutions company, is in explosive growth mode and is hiring not only locally, but nationally as well. Our client, provides accounting, finance, tax, audit, and process improvement consulting services to mid-size to global, publicly traded companies and competes with the Big 4 and global consultancy firms. They are currently adding to their consulting practice in both the Madison and Milwaukee markets. In some instances, there could be the potential for being assigned to national client projects but in a remote setting.As a accounting consultant, you will be working on various client engagements performing accounting and finance functions based upon the project deliverables. The scope of your projects will vary by engagement, as you will be supporting interim client requests and managed solutions projects. You will have the opportunity to work with a tier one consulting firm and be assigned to a project team at one of their clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a broadened scope of accounting, finance, and technology skills sets across multiple industries. Generally, project assignments can last anywhere from 8 weeks to 6 months. Examples of projects you will support will include ERP system implementations, balance sheet assurance, staff augmentation, managed solutions led solutions projects, business process improvement, etc. Examples of specific projects recently completed include: Reorganization of a credit/collections dept, developing new SOP’s and implementation of the new credit/collection program. Supporting a global environmental services company in creating a Shared Services Center. Implementation of SAP to facilitate reporting and consolidation of financial statements. Implementation of a new Accounts Payable function. The SAP add-on, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), failed to work upon initial start-up leaving 100’s of invoices open in the system, therefore requiring a new build of the AP processes.Our client offers a lucrative compensation program which includes a base salary with bonus based on utilization, revenue share, and overtime premiums. Exposure to multiple Accounting systems.
Desire to work in a client facing environment.
Strong Communication skills
