Description We are offering a role in the property administration industry, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The position is a contract role with a focus on managing tenant eligibility and rent/income computations, maintaining accurate tenant records, and ensuring compliance with housing industry regulations. Responsibilities: Conduct eligibility interviews with participants and determine tenant eligibility Compute tenant rent/income accurately and prepare all materials necessary to maintain a timely recertification schedule Maintain and adjust tenant files as necessary to ensure accurate case processing Verify all documentation utilizing the State Wage and Information Collection Agency (SWICA) and the Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) system Communicate regularly with clients, and the public in person and via phone Collect, update, and edit tenants' information for submission Prepare written correspondence relating to client terminations Participate in the orientation of tenants/applicants in briefing sessions on procedures Execute leases and contracts by obtaining proper signatures; monitor contracts and leases to ensure compliance with laws and regulations Provide assistance to applicants, staff, and others, including explaining program eligibility requirements to tenants and property owners, assisting individuals in resolving leases and contract issues, assisting property owners in interpreting rental contracts, and providing information related to program rules and regulations Prepare payments utilizing computer spreadsheets and specialized housing industry software for payment submission to accounting. Requirements Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a property administration role or similar Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Strong skills in correspondence and documentation Knowledge of insurance processes related to property management Demonstrated experience in property management Experience as a leasing consultant is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Dependable with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to maintaining property standards Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations is a plus.
