Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is crucial within our food manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable and receivable processing Undertake monthly inventory management tasks Perform data entry and reconciliation tasks diligently Conduct general bookkeeping tasks Provide backup support for phone calls as needed Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting functions Apply Excel skills for data organization and analysis Oversee annual budget preparation and cash flow analysis Ensure accuracy in all accounting functions and records Manage both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) effectively Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for this role. Familiarity with accounting functions and principles is required. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Ability to prepare and manage an annual budget. Knowledge of cash flow analysis is essential. Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks is needed. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
