Description We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team Remotely . This role is vital in our telecom provider company, providing technical assistance to our computer system users. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in various ways. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Respond to user inquiries about computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems of varying complexity. Install software or perform hardware testing remotely when needed. Execute commands and monitor system functioning to verify operations are correct and detect any errors. Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems encountered, remedial actions taken, and installation activities. Leverage technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems. Provide technical assistance and support to users. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to ensure problems are understood and solutions are clear. Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Manage your time effectively to ensure all user issues are addressed. Understand and utilize various computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.Requirements Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers and team members Experience in creating clear and concise documentation to support help desk operations Ability to provide training to end-users on system operations Familiarity with help desk operations and ability to maintain and improve these operations Experience in providing technical support to end-users Ability to prepare and deliver presentations on help desk operations and procedures Knowledge of the software 'About Time' and its application in workstation support Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions Proficient in English language to communicate effectively with customers and team members Experience in deskside support and ability to answer queries related to it Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge of consumer electronics and their troubleshooting Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites to perform daily tasks Ability to resolve issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction Experience in configuration management of computer systems Knowledge of various operating systems and ability to provide support for them Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team Ability to handle terminations of services when required Familiarity with desktop hardware and ability to troubleshoot related issues Knowledge of benefit functions in relation to help desk operations.
