This job is a nighttime delivery position, 2 Saturday nights a month. I'm looking for someone to split up Saturdays with me. Start Saturday night at 10:50 pm and ending around 5:00 am Sunday morning. You will pick up a cargo van at Madison newspapers, collect newspapers and inserts as they come off the press, and drive approximately 190 miles to 10 different locations. First stop is in Black Earth last stop is in Boscobel. Pay is 140 per night. This is a W-2 position and not cash.
Candidates must be reliable, have reliable transportation to work, and be able to work and drive thru the night and overcome the challenges associated with a night time driving position. These include fatigue, inclement weather and staying alert for wildlife and other road hazards. Candidates must have a good driving record, be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
