Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Tree Service Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree climbing and tree care, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Climb trees using safety gear to perform trimming, pruning, and removal
- Assess tree health and recommend necessary services
- Use chainsaws, ropes, and other climbing equipment safely and effectively
- Perform aerial tree work using climbing techniques or bucket trucks
- Work closely with the ground crew to ensure smooth and safe operations
- Maintain and inspect climbing gear and equipment regularly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tree climber in tree service or a related field
- Proficiency in tree climbing techniques and equipment use
- Strong understanding of tree biology and tree care practices
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- ISA certification or similar credentials are a bonus
