Leadership experience and organizational skills are required. The position will have on-call responsibilities for emergencies that will be on rotation every 4 weeks.
This position primary responsibility for:
Corrective Maintenance by completing work requests
Assist with apartment make-ready such as painting, cleaning, repair/replace appliances, plumbing/electrical as able, vendor management, drywall repairs, remodeling, etc.
Assist with snow removal as needed
Preventative Maintenance
Emergency maintenance
Request parts, ordering and inventory management.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment and supplies
Establish and maintain good relations with residents, prospective residents, vendors and co-workers.
Assist outside contractors when services are required
Picks up trash on property by assisting others in maintaining cleanliness and safety of the property
Requirements: Ability to speak and understand a basic level of Spanish, strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, high level of integrity.
Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum three (3) years fulltime maintenance experience
Licenses: A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required. Travel to job sites is required.
