Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and visually appealing meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning, and catering events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal production
- Help with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Cook or relevant culinary position
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper knife handling techniques
- Proficiency in meal preparation, menu planning, and catering services
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures in the food industry
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting
Preferred Skills:
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
- Experience in food service industry
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (or BOE)
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
(Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday)
