Job Description A Fortune 500 company in the financial space is hiring Senior Backend engineers with experience using Java and another JVM language such as Golang, Scala, or Kotlin. You'll work on a greenfield initiative, building out a next generation application using modern technologies. Ideal candidates have Java and another JVM language, as well as extensive experience working in a microservices environment. In this role, you'll get to contribute to the technical leadership of the project, while also getting your hands dirty and working with code daily. Contract Duration: 4-6 month contract to hire. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of software development experience using Java 1.8 or higher and another JVM language (Golang, Scala, Kotlin)
- Experience using modern Java frameworks such as Spring, Quarkus, or Micronaut
- Experience with API development
- Experience building microservices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Public cloud experience (AWS, PCF, Google Cloud Platform, OCI)
- Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Oracle DBs
