As an Insurance Brokerage Sales Representative, you would be responsible for answering incoming phone calls from our Agency partners. These calls will cover a wide variety of topics including eligibility for coverage, process inquiries and account statuses. You will also create certificates, quote and bind insurance policies.Hours: 9:20am-6pm Central Standard TimeWhile this is primarily a home-based role, there may be times you would be expecting to come into our office for training and meetings working from one of the following locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034; Nashville, TN 37214Internal candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location and will be considered based upon the needs of the role.Compensation range will be determined by geographic location.Madison, Keene, Phoenix, St. Joseph, and Nashville: $23-$30.76/ hourBoston and Denver: $25.96-$34.61/hourPosition Compensation Range:$23.00 - $30.76Pay Rate Type:HourlyCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.Primary AccountabilitiesQuote and take bind requests from agents.Spend 75% or more time on calls.Advises on appropriate insurance coverage and options relative to prospect circumstances and meeting the needs of the customer.Runs reports from various systems to verify accuracy of information provided by potential insured regarding insurance and driving history.Explains coverage and payment options.Responsible for follow up on unsold quotes.Services existing customer policies as required including policy changes when customer service is not available.Follows up on underwriting department requests to ensure policy underwriting adherence and improve retention.Attends sales meetings, seminars or educational activities to stay current with market trends, regulations and maintain state licensing.Specialized Knowledge & Skills RequirementsCommunicate guidelines with agents.Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to multi-task with speed and accuracy.LicensesAll agents must hold a Property & Casualty license.Travel RequirementsUp to 10%.Physical RequirementsWork that primarily involves sitting/standing.We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of the requirements listed above.
