- Work with client technical audiences providing cloud and DevOps engineering excellence during post-sale implementation and pre-sale opportunities covering cloud security, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD processes, platform engineering, application security, and security/network orchestration and automation ("SOAR").
- Assist clients with building out secure and scalable DevOps tooling and processes.
- Guide clients through the adoption of a CSP platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Deliver a delightful client experience through personality, communication, and technical mastery.
- Participate in designing client solutions based on business and technical needs.
- Build in-depth knowledge of clients' technical priorities, challenges and initiatives mapping them to AE's core offerings and competencies.
- Research new technology, reflect on market direction, and develop new services and solution offerings.
- Build value-added relationships within the domain of new or existing accounts to become a trusted technical advisor.
- Deeply knowledgeable and experienced with at least one CI/CD platform (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, BitBucket, CircleCI, et. al), one IaC tool (Terraform strongly preferred, ARM, CloudFormation, et. al), and competent with at least one language appropriate for automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell, Golang, C#, NodeJS).
- Foundational understanding of one or more of the following: public CSP (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) cloud networking, Kubernetes, FaaS/serverless, CSP databases, CSP storage solutions.
- Comfortable with an API, CLI, and GUI.
- Possess or are on a path to public CSP (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) professional level accreditation. Certification not required, but a plus.
- Careful communicator who writes well and listens like an interpreter. You re-read written communication before sending or printing.
- Actively organized individual exercising methods toward organization, task management, and note-taking.
- Receptive to professional feedback, able to self-assess, and able to provide thoughtful feedback.
- Comfortable and successful engaging someone who wears a tie, skirt, t-shirt, or combination in front of a whiteboard, at a podium, on a conference call, or during happy hour.
- Enjoy rapidly gaining context and knowledge in new technology areas with minimal supervision. You have a personal lab within a cloud service provider, basement, or bunker.
- Ability to maintain or obtain certification in cloud and other relevant technology domains - as professionally required or personally interested.
- Enjoy yearly national travel to events and conferences with a team.
- Active contributor to organizational culture, able to form and express continually curated opinions of your own.
