This is a Direct Hire role with a leading healthcare provider dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative technology and data-driven solutions. Job Summary:The Clinical Informatics Specialist will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between clinical practice and information technology. This position involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical systems, ensuring that data is effectively utilized to enhance patient care and support clinical decision-making.Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Analyze clinical data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in patient care and operational efficiency.

EHR Optimization: Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance the functionality and usability of EHR systems, ensuring they meet the needs of users and comply with regulatory requirements.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to clinical staff on informatics tools and EHR systems, promoting best practices for data entry, documentation, and reporting.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with IT, clinical teams, and administration to implement informatics solutions that align with organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.

Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives by leveraging clinical data to monitor performance metrics and develop strategies for enhancement.

Research and Evaluation: Conduct research on informatics trends and technologies, assessing their potential impact on clinical practice and patient care.

Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, working to safeguard patient information and maintain data integrity.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, Informatics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: previous experience in clinical informatics, health informatics, or a related field; experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.

Certification: Certification in Clinical Informatics (e.g., CAHIMS, CPHIMS) is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficient in EHR systems and clinical databases; familiarity with data analytics tools and software.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
