Associate Analytical Chemist - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Applies GMP/ GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateLearns to conduct routine analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOP’s and regulatory agency guidelinesLearns how to document work and maintains study documentation and laboratory recordsLearns how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasksAttends and participates in project meetingsLearns to perform peer review of dataLearns to plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignmentsContributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude.  Plans individual workload in coordination with team membersPerforms other related duties as assignedThe ideal candidate would possess:Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSelf-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
