This role provides Level 3 Help Desk Support and Network Administration, assisting users with all aspects of computer usage. You'll be responsible for guiding other IT team members, offering recommendations for solving complex problems related to computer equipment, operating systems, and printer support. Additionally, you'll provide strategic input on network addressing systems, layouts for various configurations, and appropriate connection devices to ensure optimal IT infrastructure.Responsibilities:This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities. Employees may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Create tickets for all email/phone calls that come in outside of the ticketing application. Maintain SLA’s for all issues.Manage all servers, including email, domain, telephony, print, and backup servers and their operating systems, including both hardware and software. Monitor and identify server capacity and performance issuesSupport network hardware and equipment for LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, SonicWall’s, FortiGate’s, UPSs, and other hardware. Provide recommendations for near and long-term capacity needsMonitor, test, and report on network performance; troubleshoot areas as neededCreate and maintain documentation of network configuration, mapping, processes, and service recordsAssist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devicesEnsure network connectivity of all servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.Support remote user connectivity, including business partner companiesMaintain procedures for network security, administration, usage, and business recoveryWork to maintain strict compliance with NIST Cybersecurity standards.Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware upgrades, improvements, and purchasesSupport VoIP infrastructure and its associated software, including call management systems, voicemailSupport for Hyper VAdminister and maintain Active Directory accounts, permissions, and access rightsSupport and maintain web servers and associated operating systemsSpecial projects and duties as assignedMust maintain flexible availability on off-shifts and weekends to provide critical support as needed.This position may require up to 25% travel to Brunk Industries Satellite locations based on business needs
